Custom
Stock:
It’s broke.
Say you’ve spent the better part of a day searching for that
one special stock image that’ll make your project sing…but
you come up empty handed. You don’t have the budget to hire
a photographer and the deadline is looming. Now what?
Fix
it.
How about custom stock? Yep, custom stock. It’s as if a stock
photo and a custom photo met, had some drinks, got married and had
a baby. We’ll shoot the images you want, and assuming those
same images can be used again in the future as stock, it’s a
go. Heck, it’s a win-win deal!
Our
modern world.
You gotta love the efficiency of digital photography and the immediacy
of the internet. It’s what makes the notion of custom stock
a feasible alternative for our clients.
How’s
it work?
One little email is all that’s needed to start the ball rolling,
or pick up the phone if you like. List your requirements and specifications,
and assuming your concept is of a generic nature and won’t require
a cast of thousands we’ll capture the images, post it to the
site and eagerly await your response. If the images work for you,
great, you pay the usual stock fees depending upon its use. If not,
then we end up with a cool series of new images for the site, no harm,
no foul. Sound fair? We think so too! You can purchase the images
through this site using a credit card, or if you prefer uncompressed
tiff files, we can burn a CD and overnight it to you.
What’s
generic?
How about a dog sitting at the family dinner table with it’s
own dish, or maybe a little girl glowing with accomplishment after
tying her shoes for the first time. Could be something a bit more
conceptual like a hotdog bun with a grilled zuchinni substituted for
a meat sausage to depict vegetarian alternatives to America’s
favorite junk food. Or, finally, perhaps a group of friends sipping
coffee sharing a good story… you get the idea.
What’s
not.
A portrait of your CEO. A Siamese beta fish, wearing a beret, reading
your company’s newsletter. Anything with a company’s logo
on it, in fact. See what we mean? If in doubt, just give us a holler
and we’ll work it out together.
